Danielle West wins by TKO round 3, dominating the whole fight with superior wrestling and grappling against the tough Jorina Baars, who holds a 25-0 record in muay-thai! Danielle is next set to fight Milana Dudieva (7-1) on ProFc in Russia, April 1st.

Last night's results from Kayo MMA in Watford: Jacek drew, Fred won a unanimous decision, Laura lost TKO round 1. These were the last fights for 2011, the next ones will be in February 2012. That gives NWA an overall record of 13 wins, 3 losses and 4 draws....very impressive!
The Xmas meal and Annual Awards are this Friday the 16th at the Aladin restaurant, Brick Lane, 7pm sharp!
The final class this year will be Thursday 22nd Dec.

Last night's results from LondonKO: Chris Biggs lost unanimous decision to a stong grappler, Jacek won a comfortable decision controlling the fight the whole way. Fred won his debut by RNC against a wrestler, and Laura put on a perfect display of sprawl 'n brawl, winning by KO via bodyshot round 2! Next fights are Dec 11th in Watford.

Another fantastic night of results for NWA. Max won his pro debut in impressive fashion at UCMMA 24, submitting his opponent by rear-naked choke at 2.12 minutes into round 1. Jacek delivered a stand-up clinic on his foe, landing high kicks and even a flying knee, which earned him a unanimous decision victory. Next up we have a number of fighters competing on the LondonKO show, Nov 26th.

Max got a draw against an undefeated opponent at CFC last Saturday, and is now set to make his pro debut
on Fight Scene 2 in Kingston on the 9th October. Also competing that night is Jacek, and first-timers Laura and Freddy.

NWA's first annual five-a-side football tournament will be Saturday 20th August, 1.30 - 3pm. NWA members only. We'll go for some food and drinks afterwards, location to be confirmed. Class that day will be moved to 11am.

Congratulations to Max Nunes and Christian Ivaldi on becomming the 2nd and 3rd people to ever receive blue-stripe grading in MMA under NWA's head coach Nick Osipczak.

Another impressive night of results from the NWA lads, keeping us unbeaten in 2011! Marcus made his long-awaited debut, fighting a tough and heavier opponent to a draw after 10 minutes of hard work. Max showed off a wide range of his skills as he beat up his foe relentlessley, getting the KO stoppage 9 seconds into round 2 via knees. Tom submitted his man in the first with his notourious guillotine choke! Next up are Marcus and Max in 20 days, fighting semi-pro at Scala, Kings-Cross.

A massive well-done to Fadi for being the first person to be awarded a blue-stripe in MMA under Nick Osipczak. He's been training under Nick for over 2 years and has amassed an amateur record of 7-1, and will be making his pro debut March 2011.

Congrats to Fadi and Max for their first round wins at the BST interclub on Sunday. Fadi got an armbar from his guard and Max finished with a devastating left high kick! Unlucky to Jacek who suffered his first loss, he got caught with his hands down after a close and tough first round.

At Extreme Brawl, 4 NWA fighters competed at semi-pro: Jacek won by arm-bar in round 1, Christian won by triangle, Alex lost by split decision. Fadi won his first 2 fights to advance to the tournament finals, but then lost by decision in a tough 15 minute battle.
